Installation

The carbon monoxide detector must not be installed: outdoors; in very dusty, greasy or very humid rooms (laundry, sauna); in the immediate vicinity of a sink, bath or shower; in an enclosed place hard for carbon monoxide to reach (behind a curtain, in or under a cupboard); in places with strong airflow (vents, fans, extractor hoods, doors, windows); in the immediate vicinity of a stove, oven or other heater; in the apex of a vaulted ceiling, on the beams of an A-shaped ceiling or in a pitched ceiling; closer than 30 cm to fluorescent lamps (electrical interference may cause false alarms); in a place where the temperature is below +5 °C or above +40 °C or the relative humidity is below 20% or above 90%.
