QUICK GUIDE FOR MAINTENANCE AND REPAIR WORKS

  1. Take a photo of the broken tool’s name and serial number.

  2. Send the image along with a description of the fault to the e-mail address remont@varustaja24.ee or forward the information to your account manager.

  3. Please be sure to include your name, phone number, and the site address where we can send a courier to pick up the tool.

TOOL MAINTENANCE

Tools are like cars – they only work as well as they are maintained. Regular maintenance extends the life of the tool and ensures its reliability. The best daily maintenance you can provide for your tools is cleaning them with compressed air at the end of each workday.

If the tool has a service indicator, it must be brought in for maintenance immediately after the indicator light comes on. The Varustaja24 maintenance team ensures that the necessary procedures are performed quickly and professionally.


TOOL REPAIR

If a tool does not work as expected, it must be sent for repair. Our technicians will identify the fault(s) and prepare a quote for the tool repair. The cost of the repair consists of:

  • diagnostics fee (identifying the device fault),

  • cost of spare parts,

  • labor time,

  • transportation costs (if necessary).


PRICE LIST FOR MAINTENANCE AND REPAIR WORKS

  • Tool diagnostics fee: €25 + VAT

  • Nail gun diagnostics and maintenance: €150 + VAT

  • Maintenance work up to €75 + VAT: performed without prior customer notification

  • Repair work from €75 + VAT: the customer is notified to agree on whether to:

    • maintain/repair the tool,

    • stop the work and dispose of the device,

    • return the tool.

In the case of non-repairable tools, the device is returned disassembled. If the customer wishes for the tool to be reassembled, a service fee of €25 + VAT applies.

Warranty repair

WARRANTY REPAIR

Tools are subject to factory warranties depending on the manufacturer. The factory warranty covers the rectification of manufacturing and material defects based on the manufacturer’s terms. Typically, defects resulting from natural wear and tear or mechanical damage (e.g., dropping) are not covered by the warranty.

As an added value, Varustaja24 offers its regular customers a warranty extension and registration service at a price of €5 + VAT per tool, which ensures:

  • up to a 3-year factory warranty for Bosch Professional cordless tools and batteries,

  • of which the first 2 years are covered by an additional Full Kasko comprehensive warranty, which also covers, for example, failures caused by dropping or water damage.

For Rent and Own service agreement customers, the following applies:

  • a 3-year Full Kasko comprehensive warranty for all Husqvarna construction equipment and Bosch Professional cordless tools, batteries, and chargers.

Upon termination of the agreement and transfer of the tools to the customer’s ownership, we guarantee:

  • the tools are in good working order,

  • and at least 80% residual capacity for Bosch Professional batteries.

Warranty registration

WARRANTY REGISTRATION

Varustaja24 offers a paid warranty registration service to help regular customers ensure warranty protection for their tools and keep their tool fleet in order. If desired, every user can still register independently and manage their tool warranty periods directly on the manufacturers’ websites.

Engraving service

ENGRAVING SERVICE

During daily use of tools, the manufacturer’s original markings – including the product name and serial number – may wear off over time, which can make identifying the tool’s warranty status difficult or impossible.

Varustaja24 offers regular customers the opportunity to have the serial number of each tool engraved directly onto the tool body. This ensures that the tool is always uniquely identifiable and thus acceptable for maintenance or repair work under warranty.

  • Engraving service price: €5 + VAT per tool

  • The engraving is valid as a basis for warranty identification for up to 3 years

    How our process works

    Tool intake

    Upon receiving the tool, it is registered and a work order is created, which can be used to check the status of the tool.

    Tool diagnostics

    During diagnostics, the fault in the device is identified. In the absence of a warranty, we inform the customer of the price for labor and spare parts if it exceeds €75 + VAT.

    Execution of work

    We perform all necessary procedures. The customer can view the progress of the work based on the work order. Occasionally, it may be necessary to order a spare part, which may extend the turnaround time.

    Completion of work

    When the tool returns from repair, the customer is notified, an invoice is issued for the work performed, and the method of tool handover is agreed upon.
