Ebeco concrete heating cable is a heating wire specially designed for solidification, drying and heating of concrete. The system accelerates the hardening of the concrete and allows the formwork to be dismantled earlier. The heating wire attached to the armature can be reconnected later for efficient drying or heating. The heating wire is equipped with a connecting cable.

the cable must always be installed in concrete. The power circuit of the heating cable must have a fault current protection with an applied current of 30 mA. Ebeco concrete heating cable can only be used for hardening and heating concrete.

1. Before installing the heating cable, check whether the cable meets the specifications in the project, measure whether the cable resistance (RΩ) is within the specified tolerance and measure the insulation resistance to ground (MΩ).
2. Unwind the cable and fasten it to the armature using cable ties. The cable installation interval must be approx. 20 cm. NB! The cable must be laid in such a way that it does not come into contact with insulating materials (urethane foam, expanded polystyrene, wool), because the cable may burn out at the points of contact.
3. The heating cable and its connection point with the extension cable must remain completely inside the concrete casting. The heating cable must not cross or connect expansion joints.
4. The cable must not cross itself. The smallest allowed installation interval is 7 cm.
5. After installation, measure whether the cable resistance (RΩ) is within the specified tolerance and measure the insulation resistance to ground (MΩ).
6. The cable can be connected to the power grid only after the concrete has been poured.
7. Check the temperature of the concrete regularly. The temperature of the heated concrete may rise up to 60°C, and the temperature difference in different parts of the concrete may not exceed 20°C.
8. If necessary, use appropriate weather protection to maintain the appropriate setting temperature of the concrete.
